How We Make Same-Day Crowns

DESIGNED, CREATED AND FITTED IN ONE VISIT

At Accent Dentists, we use advanced digital dentistry to create high-quality crowns right here in our Ponsonby clinic. Instead of traditional impressions and multiple appointments, we can digitally scan your tooth, design your crown and make it in-clinic - often all in the same visit.

Our same-day crown process combines precision technology with the experience of our clinical team, giving you a restoration that is designed to look natural, feel comfortable and fit your smile.

  • We start by preparing the tooth and taking a detailed digital scan - no messy impression material required. The scan creates a highly accurate 3D model of your tooth, which we use to design your new crown digitally.

Once the design is complete, your crown is made in our clinic using advanced milling technology. We then check the fit, shape and bite before finishing and fitting your crown.
