What are porcelain veneers?
Dental veneers (commonly referred to as porcelain veneers) are wafer thin shells of porcelain which are bonded onto the front surface of your tooth to create a cosmetic enhancement. We use them regularly as a way to change teeth which are discoloured, worn, chipped or crooked. The life expectancy of a dental veneer is between 5-12 years, depending on the stress of environmental factors such as chewing, biting, grinding or trauma. Find out more about teeth veneers here.
