We always provide options to help you manage treatment within your budget. Your initial appointment with Dr. Matt is priced at $225 (includes X-rays); in this first appointment at our Auckland dental practice we will discuss your medical history, followed by a thorough examination with Dr. Matt, our lead dentist.
If you require further treatment a range of options will be given and a full discussion of benefits and costs will be outlined, leaving you to decide your desired treatment plan based on your priorities. We also offer cosmetic dental payment plans.
Hygiene fees are $240, please X-rays are an additional charge if required (total cost including xrays would be $275). Xrays are used to provide better knowledge of the bone and soft tissues that surround and support your teeth.
Complimentary 15 min consultations are free of charge, longer consults are $100, unless you opt to have xrays taken, in which can an additional fee of $50 per xray is incurred.
For your convenience, we are proud to offer dental payment plan options on certain treatments, allowing our customers to spread their dental payments over 3,6,9 and twelve months! If this would be helpful for you (as for many of our patients), please let us know.
At our Auckland dental practice we encourage all our patients to regularly see our Registered Oral Health Therapist (Hygienist), because regular maintenance is the most cost effective way to maintain the health of both your gums and teeth. In other words, it saves you money in the long run while keeping your teeth looking great. Accent's full-time Registered Oral Health Therapist (Hygienist) sees most of our patients at least once a year, although in most cases twice (more or less depending on individual cases). The cost of these visits is $240 and our patients have found that preventative care has a huge bearing on minimizing long term costs.

Appointment Hours & Payment
For your convenience, appointment hours for our Auckland dental practice are Monday to Thu 8am to 5pm, with the exception os some late nights and Friday for additional Hygiene appointments. We accept Eftpos, Cash, Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Online banking as methods of payment and our services require payment in full on the day of treatment, unless you have opted for our cosmetic dentistry payment plan option - this must be agreed with us in advance of treatment. Any debt collection agency costs incurred will be passed on. Please note that should you need to reschedule your appointment we require 48 hours notice.
At Accent we offer a full spectrum of general and cosmetic dentistry, including care for your children's teeth. Dr. Matt Sumner is the owner and principal dentist of our dental practice with nearly twenty years experience. He is a NZ dentist and an Otago graduate, and is known for being extremely gentle with all his patients.
