"I wanted a natural look and Dr. Matt worked meticulously to give me 2 new front teeth that look like they're mine and have always been there. I quite happily flash a big smile now." ~ Serena

What are the pros and cons of dental bridges?

Dental bridges (or teeth bridges) have advantages and disadvantages.

Advantages of dental bridges:

Dental bridges are natural in appearance, and are a great teeth replacement solution for those with missing teeth. They usually require only two visits to your dentist. Dental tooth bridges help fix an unsightly teeth gap while also helping to stabalise surrounding teeth and are an especially good teeth replacement solution if the teeth on either side of your missing teeth are in poor shape and would benefit from a dental crown. In this way a dental bridge is really a remedy for a few adjacent teeth that are in missing and/or in poor condition. If you maintain good oral hygiene, your fixed dental bridge should last as many as ten years or more.

Disadvantages of having a dental bridge:

It is common for your teeth to be mildly sensitive to extreme temperatures for a few weeks after the treatment. The build up of bacteria formed from food acids on your teeth and gums can become infected if proper oral hygiene is not followed.
