Front Teeth Cosmetic Dentistry
Sharla - Gumline & Veneers
It was a real pleasure to work on Sharla's teeth, my Practice Manager at the time, she was absolutely delighted with her new veneers. Sharla also had gum recontouring done to give her the perfect smile she wanted, and you can see how happy she looks.
Ed - Gaps In Teeth & Lengthening Teeth
Ed had a family member tell him he should do something about his teeth and then he decided this might be a good idea to look into. Upon reflection he didn’t like how short, grey and ‘gappy’ they were. We talked him through some options and then settled on a staged approach for him. We first did some soft tissue recontouring, then whitening and then some zirconia crowns (which are strong enough to resist the wear forces which had resulted from his grinding).
The beauty of this staged approach is that at each stage things improved significantly and he was able to really consider how much he wanted to continue to improve things before committing to that next step. We are absolutely delighted with Ed's end result and couldn’t be more thrilled for him.
Shalom - Changing Shape, Fixing Gumline
Shalom initially came to see us because she didn’t like the shape and wear on her two front teeth. On close examination, we also found that she had quite dark short teeth with a large amount of gum showing when she smiled. After discussing her options together we elected to first reposition the height of her gum line with our soft tissue laser which is a surprisingly easy and painless procedure. This meant she showed more tooth when she smiled and much less gum. Then we whitened things which worked really well too. Finally, we veneered her two front teeth replacing the old stained fillings with ceramics and which allowed us to rebuild the teeth to their original overall length and straighten them up. Shalom also had soft tissue gum reconcontouring.
Jo - Replacing Old Composites, New Veneers
Jo had some composite work done on her front teeth many years ago, but while still unhappy with them, had also been advised not to do any work on them or they would shatter. She was also missing some lateral teeth.
Concerned with her options, she still wanted a natural look, and without uising implants or orthodontics. Jo was delighted with her new dental veneers, and you can see why! Ross had been seeing us in the practice for around ten years before he finally chipped enough of his front teeth to be motivated to do something about it. I had been aware that I could do something cosmetic for him throughout that time but it hadn't been a priority for Ross so it wasn't my place to tell him to do anything about it. When he decided to address it we recontoured his gum with our laser to give him more tooth length before placing two all ceramic crowns on his central front teeth and two ceramic veneers on his laterals. Patient Root Filled Tooth Gave Way - 1 Implant Needed
This patient had a root filled tooth that had worked successfully for a number of years. Sadly one day it finally gave way and fractured vertically up through the root of the tooth which is an unsalvageable sitution, so the tooth neeed to come out.
The implant was placed and finally restored and it looks and feels fantastic. You can see our patient loves it, and we're stoked with the result!
Patient Tooth Knocked Out
Our patient knocked their front tooth loose and it was never able to settle or firm back in place. After repeated attempts to stablilise, we elected to go with the most permanent solution, one implant (an implant supported crown), and we're all delighted with the result!

We needed to open Jo’s bite to strengthen and prevent her from breaking any more of her back teeth, which up until then had been a significant problem. Opening her bite allowed us to create space in which we could do the cosmetic work she desired at the front of her mouth. Jo wanted a very natural aesthetic. Overall we gave her a full mouth reconstruction, including 13 dental crowns, 12 porcelain teeth veneers and 1 bridge. Minor laser was used to improve gum symmetry. Because of the signifant amount of dental work required, we worked collaboratively to plan a staged approach incorporating long-term temporaries. This ensured Jo was comfortable with the new bite height of her back teeth throughout the process.

Freya - Replacing Teeth Caps
Freya was encouraged to get her front teeth veneered by another dentist and she decided to check us out to do them instead. The large existing plastic filling teeth caps on her teeth had discolored with time, as they are prone to do, and that discoloration was what bothered Freya enough to want to do something about them. We discussed changing them over to veneers to achieve a longer lasting solution and the veneers also had the added advantage of being able to subtly straighten things and make the teeth less prominent in Freyas smile. Peter had previous dental veners, but was unhappy with the aesthetic. We took a lot of time and care crafting temporary veneers the exact shape and size he liked before committing to the final permanent ones so as to meet Peter's natural aesthetic. Peter is a very good example of replacing veneers, where the look and feel is subtle but matching their exact desired aesthetic. He's also a good example of where we worked fastidiously with him in crafting termporaries prior to the final result, to ensure he got exactly what he wanted. Leon - Chipped Front Teeth
Leon came to us because he was repeatedly chipping his front teeth and didn’t like the look of them. Initially we decided together to rebuild his teeth in composite filling material, but this wasn't strong enoughto stand up to the forces Leon was putting them through. Peter - Fixing Chipped Front Teeth
Peter had damaged and chipped his front teeth, the result of ongoing wear and tear, and a previous accident. We were able to give him the natural look and feel he wanted using a combination of veneers and crowns. The tricky technical part of this was that Peter had a previous metal post in one of his front teeth, due to a previously root filled tooth which we had to work around. This had caused a "grey" colour (caused from the previous metal post) to affect the appearance of his front tooth that we needed to mitigate as part of his cosmetic solution.
